Our partners are social entrepreneurs

CONGOLESE CHANGE-MAKERS WHO have the potential to deliver innovative solutions to social and environmental problems

All of our partners have the drive and ambition to scale sustainable businesses that can help improve livelihoods and wellbeing across Eastern Congo. We invest in their social business or cooperative from proof of concept (Phase 1) to rollout and scale (Phase 2).

Our partners work across four sectors:

Since 2014, we have supported 25 social businesses across Eastern Congo - 83% of which have shown evidence of growth and scale. 8 now operate independently of La Différence, and 4 are in the process of exiting our Phase 1 programme and will continue to operate outside of our support.
