Women of the Ruzizi Plain: Pillars of economic resilience and hope in the rice sector
In the Ruzizi plain in South Kivu, over 10,000 small-scale rice farmers, most of them women, play a key role in local food security. Through the Nyange Nyange project, LA DIFFÉRENCE supports these women in strengthening their agricultural and entrepreneurial skills to transform rice farming into a sustainable, resilient, and income-generating activity.
